Meet the Team

Kristin Glass

Hey there, I’m Kristin. Events are my passion and I’m here to help you design amazing experiences.

I started my business in 2015 because I always knew working for myself was what I wanted to do. Now I’m lucky to have a creative, collaborative team that takes on any project that’s thrown our way.

I’ve worked on pretty much every type of event you can imagine from sporting events and game day production to tournaments, fundraisers, meetings, galas, concerts, teambuilding events, and so much more. All of these events have a lot in common, but I thrive with a new challenge in front of me and the range of projects gives me lots to tackle.

I hold a Certified Meeting Professional designation and I love connecting in the industry. I’ve been involved with Meeting Professionals International for several years now, even recently serving as the President of our Greater Edmonton Chapter.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me off on an adventure trying to see as much of the world as I can, and probably jamming to the latest Taylor Swift album.

Taylor Rojo

Hello, I’m Taylor. After finding myself burnt out from my first job out of university, I did what any millennial would do: Google “Career Aptitude Test.” Turns out, my organizational and communication skills, as well as my ability to think through all possible outcomes, made for a promising career in Event Management.

I obtained my Event Management Certificate from NAIT in 2019, and got my first event position in December of that year. While 2020 was definitely a strange time to be jumping into the event world, the live event work I did prior to the pandemic had me hooked! My favourite thing about events is the problem solving that takes place behind the scenes. If I can come up with a solution to a problem you never even knew existed, then I know I have done my job well!

I joined Kristin Glass Events Inc. as an Event Assistant in September 2021. I love being a part of this team because I get the chance to play a role in a multitude of different projects, all at once. When I am not at work, you can find me somewhere outside, trying to keep my toddler from pulling my dog’s tail, or volunteer dog walking.

Molly MacLeod

Hi, I’m Molly! Through life’s twists and turns, in September 2021, during the final semester of my Bachelor of Commerce degree, I was lucky enough to land a Business Administration role with Kristin.

While spreadsheets, balanced budgets, and file naming conventions fill my heart with joy, in my spare time, I’ve always loved throwing detailed and thoughtful events for family, friends, and with volunteer committees.

Now, with KGE Inc, I get to explore my passion for both business and event coordinating while being mentored by and collaborating with two of the industry’s best teammates. Being surrounded by such creative and motivated minds … real magic happens!

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends, preferably painting a thrifted object with a glass of red and some good music.

Alleah Boisvert

Hey, I’m Alleah! I joined Kristin’s team in 2023 as a Marketing & Event Assistant. As a marketing student, I’m interested in taking on various projects and dipping my toes into different atmospheres. Event Planning seemed like an ideal route for the variety I crave!

I completed my Marketing diploma at NAIT in 2022 and am working toward obtaining my BBA. During the school year, I’m a Senior Editor for NAIT’s school newspaper, the NAIT Nugget. My areas of interest include public relations, social media marketing, journalism, and writing and editing. Although I’m well-versed in Canadian Press Style guidelines, I am an Oxford comma advocate.

My favourite aspect of events is using the marketing skills I’ve learned in school while taking advantage of my many years of experience in customer service. I’ve done everything from veterinary reception to bartending at a local brewery – it feels great to jump into the marketing side of events and put my creativity and problem-solving skills to the test!

Outside of work, you can find me snuggling with my black cat, enjoying a craft beer, watching anime, or taking a walk in my neighbourhood while listening to some weird, niche genre of rock or indie.

Chelsea Spencer

Hi, I’m Chelsea! After spending time working on a vegetable farm, at a dog kennel, serving, bartending, you name it, I decided to go to post secondary to find my “forever” career. Turns out that didn’t work out as well as I had hoped. I graduated with a Diploma from NAIT’s Biological Sciences Technology program, worked in a lab for a few years, then realized that it wasn’t really “my thing.” I switched gears once again to working in warehouses over a period of 3 years… again realizing that also was not “my thing.”

Party and event planning for my friends and family has always been something I would get excited about and go all out for. Knowing this, when I had the chance to take on an internship in 2020 with a wedding and event planner, I jumped at the opportunity.

After meeting Kristin and learning that I have experience and a shared passion, Kristin offered me a position with KGE. I once was someone who you would refer to as a “Jack of all trades” and now I am happy to be KGE’s Admin & Event Assistant. My journey to this position was no straight shot, but I am so excited to have found the chance to work in events. Being able to explore my creativity while also being methodical creates exactly the balance I need in a workplace.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, petting dogs, eating tacos and cake, drinking margaritas, and reading books.
